citizens start thinking about the outdoors whether to recapture the
joy of younger days or to have fun with the grandkids, or both.
ReserveAmerica today released their list of the top 100 family
campgrounds. They are listed below in alphabetical order by name and by
state. There are also lists of the parks by attributes, like bird
watching, hiking, canoeing, etc.
ReserveAmerica, says it is the United States'
leading recreation reservation and campground management solutions
provider and announced the nation's fourth annual "Top 100 Family
Campgrounds." It is a guide to help seniors and others plan their
visits to America's greatest 'hidden gem' locations all across the great
outdoors.

looking to plan and reserve a camping trip for this spring or summer,"

The Top 100 Family Campgrounds were selected based
on testimonials, campground ratings and feedback provided by park
rangers, regional park management and campers throughout the year.
Nearly 3,000 parks were reviewed and the final 100 campgrounds were
determined based on specific family-friendly criteria ranging from
educational programs and visitor centers to camping amenities and
overall beauty and scenery. Factors including the quality and
availability of hot showers, laundry facilities, hiking trails, family
beaches, radio-free zones, visitor centers, educational programs,
children's events and location were also considered.

6, 2005 - Tony and Margaret Steele-Rijkelijkhuizen have only been
married a little less than three years, yet these retirees are not
sitting at home twiddling their thumbs. Before their marriage, both Tony
and Margaret led very active lives, and they saw no reason why
retirement should slow them down. As house sitters, the Steele-Rijkelijkhuizens
are traveling the world. They recently returned back to their home in
the Netherlands from a house sit in Greece.
